Cassandra Chew, 25, is a writer, singer, composer, painter, poet, designer and dancer. Most of this creative proliferation occurs in her daydreams, but occasionally they transfigure into reality.

A firm believer in purpose and passion, she is chasing her desire to fight human trafficking by assisting leading expert Dr Mohamed Mattar in his legal research at The Protection Project, and volunteering with The Redlight Children Campaign. This is also the reason why she crossed disciplines after attaining a BA in Cinema Studies at New York University to pursue an MA in International Law and Government at Georgetown University in Washington DC.

When she is not a student, she is a journalist with Singapore Press Holdings in, well, Singapore, where she has four parents, four siblings and two places she calls home.
